Engrossed in our tasks at our Muskego location on Racine Ave and Kelsey Dr, we were oblivious to the unfolding events. As we wrapped up our business, we prepared to depart, following our usual route home.

As we approached the roundabout, we found ourselves stopping to yield to a procession of emergency vehicles— a police officer, a fire engine, and an ambulance. The gravity of the situation became palpable in that moment. With a sense of solemnity, we allowed the emergency vehicles to pass, realizing that something significant was unfolding nearby. Following our natural course, we ended up trailing behind them, heading in the same direction. It was a startling revelation when we realized that the scene of the emergency was a home situated just down the hill from our location.
